Fun With Cousins!

Ellie's cousins, Leilani, Mia, and Aidyn, came over to play today. Ellie really enjoyed watching them and squawking at them! They all took turns holding her and loving on her. Ellie is so lucky to have cousins that live so close!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is Ellie's daddy's birthday so she got all dressed up! We actually celebrated his birthday last Sunday with lots of family. Ellie liked being treated like a princess and being held by her grandmas, aunts, uncles...etc!

Ellie is really into sucking her whole fist right now. It is pretty funny (well, funny to me the obsessive mother who thinks every little thing my child does is amazing). She gets really loud and slobbery. Check out the video! Video Link

The big roll

Today, just after snapping this picture, Ellie rolled from her tummy to her back. She has been rolling from her back to her side for quite some time, but the tummy to back was a first. It is a funny thing about being a parent...you get so excited about something as litttle as a rollover!

Tummy Time

Ellie is finally started to get interested in grabbing at and playing with toys which makes tummy time a whole lot more fun...especially on the TummyTime Surf Mat her "Uncle" Alex gave her!

3 months!

Ellie is three months old today! Time has just flown by and she is changing every day! Ellie is just so much fun. She loves to smile and talk to everyone...especially her mommy and daddy. We are such suckers for her smile. She is especially a morning person. When she wakes up, she lays in her crib talking until we come get her. Then, when she sees us peering over her crib, she breaks into the biggest smile. We just couldn't be happier with our baby girl!

Monkey love

While Ellie hasn't shown a lot of interest in toys yet, she loves loves loves her stuffed monkey! She will play with and talk to it for hours! She has even started to take naps with Smia (aka Softest Monkey In America).

12 weeks and sittin' tall (well, trying to anyway)

Ellie really enjoys sitting up now and taking in the world around her. When we lay her back on her boppy, she does crunches to lift her head up and attempt to sit. She loves when I prop her up in a sitting position, but of course she falls right over as these pics show!

Go 'Stros!

A while back, Daddy went to an Astros game and came home with this outfit for Ellie. I didn't really have any patriotic outfits to dress her in for the 4th so I decided to dress her in her Astros outfit. She totally looks like a boy in it...and very much like her daddy!

Here is a pic of Ellie rolling on her side. She has also started rolling on her side in her crib at night and seems to like sleeping that way!
